Ford 335 with no fire

My Ford 335 has no fire, in the distributor there is a very fine wire that has come off the lug on the plate the points are mounted on. Can this be fixed without replacing the distributor?

not familiar with the distributer, but most likely it can be repaired in some way, it may need to be silver soldered or disassembled and worked on, lt was manufactured most likely it is able to repair,

my be the question is it repairable by you? What exactly is the problem? and or your skills and what access you have to tools,

The location of the distributer is a major concern with the loader on and just under the intake manifold.
