I have a 1994 2120 with EHSS 12x12 transmission that uses the one way bearing (sprag clutch) to drive the PTO. I am pretty sure my pto is loosing power and stopping due to this. I bought the Ford/New Holland major shop manual not the I-T manual and it appears I have to split the tractor between the transmission and rear end to change this but from reading posts I get the feeling this can be changed by going thru the top cover. Has anyone actually changed this and can you give me any advice. I am fairly mechanical and have worked on heavy equipment and aircraft for many years but that is always at work. Kinda want to know what I'm getting into when it's on my buck.
