Ford 2000 3 point lift please help

Ok fellas I have a ford 2000 great tractor but have a issue with the lift ...

It will lift a heavy round bale but here are my symptoms ..
1. It only lifts the last 1/4" of the movement of the control level in other words you can move lever full stroke and the box blade wont move but maybe 10" and it only moves all at the end of the stroke of the lever, no fine control or high lift ..

2. I can raise the lever as high as it will go the blade will move its 10" then I've learned i can reach down and push the draft lever partially down and get the box blade to raise full highth ?

3. After all this the hydrolics leak down pretty fast .. now i do have a few leaks I've slowly been fixing and i also have a 730 loader on this tractor ... any help is appreciated I'm pretty handy with a wrench but hydrolics are new to me thanks in advance ...

You need to get a rebuild kit and the I&T book on your tractor. Pull the lift cover (engine hoist helps) and rebuild the lift. You will probably discover the cam follower pin is worn and will need replacing. Just went through this on my 3000 for the first time. Wasn't real difficult and searching the forums helped a bunch with what questions I had.

Thank you i have purchased the rebuild kit and my next step as soon as i have time is to get that done thanks for the feedback ... I will post back with results
