Hi
I have a 1965 2000 3 cylinder gas. It starts up a little rough, but settles down and runs pretty smooth.
However, when I put much load on it, like when I put it in 3rd or 4th gear and start to let the clutch out, it starts to miss. Choking it seems to help, but not a lot, once it gets going, it runs strong. Does the same thing when brush hogging and I hit a heavy patch, it's better the warmer the engine is.
What sort of problem do I have? Carburetor, distributor advance, governor? Give me someplace to start, can you?
