I have a ford model 1910 and the hydraulics have slowly deteriorated to the point where the bucket no longer moves and neither does the 3 point hitch lift arms. When I changed the oil filter, things seemed to work fine for a short time and then quickly deteriorated again. There is some sign of water in the hydraulic oil. I'm looking for suggestions to what I should first look into before I get in too deep. Thank you.

Sounds like something plugged your new filter. I would probably pull that new filter out and examine it closely.

I agree with oldtractorfixer. Pull the filter off, look down at the housing for anything that might be blocking the passage. My 1910 hydraulics slowed down for no reason over the course of about 2 weeks. When I took the filter off, I found some silicone sealant laying in the housing. I removed the silicone and I was back in action.

I just reread your post. Some Hydraulic filters will plug from water. Sounds like time to change the oil as well as the filter.
