I inherited a 1900 Ford from the original owner. It has around 677hrs on it as of Today.
It has a FEL on it, do not know the model. Need to get some pics up.
I've replaced all the hydraulic hoses on it. Rebuilt the control valve for the FEL and a couple hydraulic cylinders on the loaded. I put new front tires on it recently and need to replace the rears. I'm going to add some wheel weights as well.
The only problem I'm running into is that the sheetmetal is RUSTED OUT. Funny with this being a southern tractor that was kept decently clean but left outside.
It is the hood that now has no hinge left (rust) and rear fenders. Everything else just needs a little touch up paint here and there where it has been rubbed or wore off from shoes. Wheels need to be painted too.
I need to replace the radiator hoses. I had the waterpump rebuilt a few years ago. At the end of summer I'll probably do the radiator hoses, air intake hose, fuel filter, and change ALL the fluids and clean the screen.
In a perfect world I could find sheetmetal that is brand new already painted that I could spend 30 minutes bolting on.
Out of simplicity would another model sheetmetal fit this tractor incase I can't find the 1900 metal. I know my grill is decent and could be reused. I also need the battery tiedown and a new screen for the radiator; but those are minor details.
Probably won't be getting rid of this tractor even if I bought a big one and would use this one to finish mow. Think I should throw industrial or turf tires on the rear in anticipation of that?
