Ford 1710 hitch issues!

How do, I have a Ford 1710. The problem I am having is that the three point hitch lift arms will not go up when you move the lever. All of the settings are where they should be and yet it doesn't even try and move. A snow blower is attached to the PTO and I need to get it going before we get more snow. Any and all help is much appreciated thanks.

Few things could cause it. We had several threads about exact same issue for ford 1700/1710 series in Blue forum. The main culprit is lack of hyd flow and several ways to check it out. I add couple of link here to threads discussed. check them out and let us know if you still have issues.

It's probably like comparing apples to oranges, but the 3 pt. on my 2000 won't raise until the oil in the system has had a chance to circulate for a while. All depends on how cold it is.. Whether my pump is that worn, or just the nature of the beast... It's never failed to pickup anything I've had on it, once it is up to operating temp.

But, you didin't say how long the tractor had been running, before trying to pick it up. Hopefully it is something this simple...

have you done the basics like checking hyd fluid?

any from from the pump?
