Recently while running the rotary cutter on my 1710 the 3pt dropped and would not lift. I noticed the hydraulic fluid was milky so I drained and replaced fluid and filter. 3pt still wouldn't lift. I then pulled the lift cylinder and the seal was brittle and broken into little pieces. I replaced the seal and still have no lift. This has me puzzled because the FEL works fine. I am assuming there is a blockage somewhere but I'm not sure where to look. If I loosen the fitting in the 1st pic that I believe sends UTF to the 3pt fluid comes out but doesn't seem to be a great amount of pressure. Any ideas?

That's a Kubota pricing link...?!?

I found it. Thx. For some reason tapatalk takes me somewhere else.

I tried to adjust the screw in the valve in this pic and it didn't help. It only seemed to effect the FEL not the TPH.

I also removed the bolt holding what I believe is the hydro Supply line to the TPH and i and half the tractor proceeded to get covered in fluid so I believe it must be something wrong in the valve that raises and lowers the TPH.

Guess I will reread the suggested thread above...

Isn't it amazing how much fluid can spew from those little hydraulic lines? It sounds like the valve might be 'vapor locked' so you might need to bleed the air from the valve like hawkone115 describes in posting #24 linked above. Sounds like he exercised his loader to the extreme with all fluid diverted to the loader and then switched the screw to the 3point and started exercising it heavily.

Glad you are back in biz', grantopus. These older 'blue' tractors were built to be fixable, unlike the newer shiny brands. Hope your 1710 stays a reliable as my 1920.

Yes I'm glad it's up and running too. Now I just need to source some fenders and get some new tires. Think I'll keep this one around for a while. Thanks again.
