White smoke usually is indicative of antifreeze burning in the combustion chamber. Might be from a cracked head, damaged head gasket, or very remote possibility of cylinder wall crack. Do see a sheen or film of antifreeze in your engine oil? when the engine is cold remove the radiator cap and see if you can see sheen of oil in cooling fluid. Positive answer to either of questions and you got antifreeze mixing with the oil and piston suction bringing it to burn during the combustion. Bad rings and you lose compression but it does not cause white smoke cloud. Replacing the head gasket would be less troublesome cure if you don't have a crack. Have you overheated your tractor bad lately?

I just bought the tractor last saturday, i got it 4WD and 9 peices of equipment so i let the smoking slide hoping it would be a easy fix. It runs strong and only smokes after its warm when i rev up. But it is passing little black spec of what i think is fuel but not 100% sure.

So are you saying when it is cold it does not smoke? Is the smoke white or black when you rev up? do you get both white and black. I'd do the basic sort of tune up items, engine oil change and filter, make sure oil bath air filter is not plugged up, take the filter bowl out clean the dirt and put new oil in. I'd make sure the fuel tank is clean and replace the fuel filter. Inspect the engine oil for tale tell sign of contamination.

I did yesterday,, changed all fluids and filters, i guess its could be a combination of black and white,, grey smoke,, i did what you said earlier, i looked in the radiatior, it looks nice and clean, the oil looks like new, due to just changed and i also put lucas in oil and fuel,, im just not sure.

Mine puffed alot of white smoke one time because I stupidly let water get into the exaust pipe and into the muffler when it rained. JC is right about it more than likely being water. If the smoke disapates real fast than its probably water. Oil smoke will hang in the air alot longer. Please let us know what you find, and possibly post some pictures of it. Good luck! TB

Also keep an eye on your temp guage, if your getting combustion into your cooling system, it will heat up fast and cause higher pressure in the cooling system.
