Ford 1700 hydraulic pressure relief valve

Inside the pressure relief valve on my ford 1700, what all parts are supposed to be in there? Specifically, is the little cone shaped piece on the end of the spring supposed to seat in something besides just the housing. It seems like it wouldn't seat tight against the housing and that's all I have. I'm thinking I might have lost a piece.

You have spring, adjustment nut and the conical valve. On the body of relief you have a seat that that meet the conical valve.
