Ford 1700 Added Cockpit Step

I had recently looked at a new Kubota and liked the additional step offered on newer tractors. My knees aren't what they used to be, so I added the step below to my 1700. I put it at 13" vs 20"of the height of the main foot deck. Obviously it changes the ground clearance, but not an issue for my use. I figured it could be raised easily as well if needed. Seems to work well so far. Toukow

Not bad, simple and quick, hate to run my shin to the edge though. I am not big guty with big boots and can jump on/off of my 1700 pretty easily.

One of the first mods I did to my Ford was to build a step. I totally understand. And it's one of the most used modifications you can do.
