New Holland TC30 Hydro 4x4, Gravely Zero Turn Mower
No, you did'nt see this post somewhere else. You're just imagining things...

I'm working on a deal (another one) with a local dealer. He has a Ford 1620
hydro 4X4, turfs, 1300 hrs. He is willing to take a 7108 loader off a 1320 and put it
on this tractor for me. The tractor looks like it has spent some time stored
outdoors. It's a 1993 and has the bumps and scratches you would expect. The
front tires need to be replaced but the rears are excellent. He threw out a price
off the top of his head of $12,500. The tractor needs some paint touchup, some
bulbs replaced, and a good cleaning and degreasing of some parts. I don't think
$12,500 is a good price for this machine. He said he would work on the price and call me tomorrow.

What is a good price?

Does anyone know the 3pt hitch capacity?

Does anyone know the hydraulic flow rate?

Dealer says 27 hp. Is this correct?

Is a 7108 the right loader for this machine?

for this price I think I would go with a new TC30 same tractor not much more money and a warranty!

Unfortunately, I don't have the specs for the 1620, but I do have a brochure that lists the 1720 as being 27.7 gross engine HP (23.5 PTO HP). I would bet the 1620 is somewhat less.

I didn't know hydro trans was an option on the 1620. I thought all you could get was the standard 12/4 or the optional 12/12 shuttle shift.

John, I have found that getting info on Fords and New Hollands can be challenging. From what I have been told......The 1620 is the hydro version of the 1720. I was told that everything else is the same. Assuming that this is true (until informed otherwise), do you have any other specs? 3pt hitch, hyd flow, engine displacement, total weight. I am truly starved for information on this tractor. Any help is appreciated.

Spencer, the TC30 implement flow rate is 6 gpm and 3.5 gpm for steering. I was thinking that maybe the 1620 has more flow than this??? So, whats a good price on a TC30?? I was quoted $16,300 with R4's, hydro, and loader.

Wow, John Miller, your info (as usual) is a real show stopper. You must work for the government or something.

Seriously, thanks, I think I will be looking for a better deal. I know my dealer won't come down that low. I saw one of these sell on Ebay two weeks ago for $8,500. Seems like the $7,500 to $8,500 is the right price range.

Thanks to everyone who responded. You guys really came through on this one.

I had a deal on a 1993 Ford 1620, semi new turf tires, with 2,300 hrs, new FEL, 72" MMM for total price of $9,250, just to give you a comparison. Didn't buy it because the MMM did not leave any clearance at its highest position (less than 3"). Also thought it was a little big for my needs. The tractor was $6,500 and the FEL was $2,750.
