Ford 1510 Injector pump

Does anyone know where I can get an injector pump or rebuild kit for one for a Ford 1510 besides the dealer?

G'day and welcome to TBN an inj pump is not something to pull apart yourself unless you happen to have a test bench for calibration in the shed try the local fuel injection repair shop

You are correct and I would not pull it myself. I have an Uncle that is a diesel mechanic in the oilfield industry for the past 30 yrs. He said if I got the parts he could rebuild it for me. I just cant seem to find the parts available and I dont want to spend 1000 to 1200 to get it done at the dealers.

The best you can do is to bypass the tractor dealer and go directly to an injection pump shop. This is where your pump will end up if you send it to a tractor dealer. The diesel shop will have access to parts for the pump. It is not at all likely you will find a pump shop that will retail the parts directly over the counter.

steven if you will supply me with all the numberes off the "ID" plate on your pump i can get you the rebuild kit want be back at work until monday my email address is wmbecton@comcast.net. i am a supplier of diesel repair parts to the industry and since you already have a willing builder who you happen to know this helps.
