well, after 24 years, the bearing in the waterpump finally failed...
the thermostat is in the waterpump housing, and cant be changed without removing the waterpump...
one thing I noticed, is there was no rubber gasket under the thermostat...I got one at the dealer, but not sure im going to use it...the machined area doesn't seem deep enuff for the gasket...
anybody ever see this on a Shibaura engine...?
