Ford 1100 Engine Rebuild

Hi everyone,

Wasn't sure to post here or in the Grey-market section so I'll toss it out ehre as well:

I've recently came across a Ford 1100 tractor in excellent shape, except the engine which you might as well say needs to be overhauled (rings, pistons, bearings). I've searched high and low (and even here in this site) and all I can find is the model # of the engine is a Shibaura LEK752C2. New Holland lists the parts in the catalog but availability is questionable at best. There's an aftermarket crank but no bearings. Any help you guys could send me in the way of parts (or a running engine) would be apprecaited, thanks!

Hi Lumberjack I too just bought one of these Ford compact's, model 1600 and it's motor need's an overhaul too and i'am having a hard time finding aftermarket parts for this. I've been told all these Ford compact's up to but not including the 2000 are hard to find after market parts for, some of the mega expensive factory parts are drying up to. Had I known this I wouldn't have bought this one but I have to say I like the little tractor its good for tilling . Mark
