I can't imagine what that would be used for over a tractor with FEL.

I suppose maybe a landscape contractor to move blocks, pavers or sod, but for a homeowner or farm? You can't even sit down ... it's a stand-up ride on. One of the pictures shows it pulling over a fairly large tree trunk (which conveniently has all the roots cut away).

Tree guys use them in customers lawns to pick up downed trees so they can saw them up easily. Very handy for that task and doesn’t tear up lawn like a tractor & FEL.
Also great for building sidewalks or carrying small balled trees for planting. Finish grading in tight areas.
Very handy for a lot of backbreaking work. I see a lot of the “Boxer” brand in my area.

I rented one with a trenching attachment a while back and I will never rent a wheeled walk behind trencher again if I can avoid it.
For the tree guys, it means they can leave their trees in 200-300# chunks rather than 50-100# chunks.
it's small enough that it will fit into a lot of places you couldn't get something else into and it will pick up a lot for it's size.

Umm, these are amazingly useful tools.

They are for landscapers. Mine just installed a fence and lilacs with theirs. They are for smaller areas and yard installations. LOTS of people love the dingo.

Look up videos of the dingo, tons of uses and make a lot of sense for small jobs and tight areas. VERY easy to tow around as well. I know people with tractors, boom lifts etc.. and they say "jeez, I sure would like one of those".

For personal use, yes, too much maybe. For a landscaping crew, saves ALOT of time and hard work.

Exactly my point. Commercial, I can see them being useful. Personal, more of a toy.

You said homeowner or farm.
Farm would be great to clean out stalls and all the other misc work on a farm.

I can’t comment on that model but those walk behind skid steers are stout. Between those and your tractor the SCUT is the toy. Even a CUT is wimpy compared to the bigger ones of those. IMG_6828.JPG

My neighbor is a landscape contractor.
He has several really nice pieces of medium size CAT landscape equipment.
But.....he loves his "Dingo", because it will go in yards, where the other stuff can't.

...and the electric ones would be great for going into places where engine exhaust would be an problem/annoyance. e.g. interior demolition or material handling (not much difference in footprint than pulling a pallet jack, but a lot more versatile)

I didn't know they had an electric version. I was watching them use the bucket to clean up the mess from the tree installation and they were constantly powering it on and off. I thought "that can't be great, just let it run for the 2 minutes". An electric version would stop that issue, or a lot of the wear it causes.

Might just be a good investment with the other matainance batteries remove.
