For 4110 Owners: PTO Pump - The Sequel !!!!!

Will - Please recheck that full serial number... right off the nameplate... including any zeros. The X means 2004 but your sequence number suggests 2003.

I just went out to the barn to check numbers:

s/n 4110 X05 0310 (right off the TYM plate)

Pump info:

Spec. 14 x 6.5 cc-L

You have the "new" pump... and the X05 is clearly May 2004 production. I just don't get the sequence number (0310). You sure that isn't 0510???

Is the sequence number the actual number of the tractor out the door for the month of May 2004?

I don't get it Will. The sequence number 310 should be found within the early part of the 2003 production year... but the X05 clearly means May 2004 production and your hydraulic pump... together with Galen's input... would seem to confirm that May 2004 date as being correct.

I know I have the newer pump, but what would the letter designation be for 2006 and 2007? The serial number starts with an A010 on my new 4110 just wondering if it is an late '06 or early '07 build?

An "A01" machine has a January 2007 build date.

U=2001
V=2002
W=2003
X=2004
Y=2005
Z=2006
A=2007

The letter system indicates production year. The 4110 or 411 indicates a Mahindra Model 4110. The first two numbers following the letter indicate the month of production... 01=January, 02=February, etc. The last four digits are the sequential production number.
