Foldable ROPS for tc30?

A question for spencer or anyone else who knows. Can a foldable ROPS be put on a TC30 (still dealing with the height problem from previous post)? If so any guess on what the extra cost would be? As always thanks for the good information.

Seriously, I don't have a height problem with my ROPS, but I have looked at the folding ones closely and I don't believe it would take me more three hours and about $20 in steel to modify mine to a folding style.

Ok, one more thought. My dealer told me that the TC30 uses the same tranny and axle as the TC29. I would not be surprised if the folding ROPS from the TC29 would bolt right on. And the good thing is that some manufacturers sell ROPS at cost such as to not discourage use.

I believe I would be very careful about any cutting or welding on the ROPS. Because of the safety/liability issues, I am sure that ANY modification of the ROPS would negate any warranty. The end result, depending on your welding knowledge and skills may actually be stronger than the original, but if it fails, it would be on your head (pun intended). /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
