OK, so it's not exactly what you thought. They're pretty cute anyway!
My daughter had to make something for her school business day. So she decided to make these pinecone turkeys, 40 of them in all. The kids will use their "scholar dollars" that they earned during the semester and visit the other kids booths to purchase items.
These turkeys are patterned after one I made over 30 years ago as a cub scout. My old one is in pretty poor shape, so we'll replace it with one that my daughter made.
