Flatbed Truck Freight Costs

Next month I will need to have some roof panel (SIPS) shipped from Jefferson City, MO to Prescott, AZ (around 1,380 miles). It will require a semi with a 48'-53' flatbed trailer. The load will be around 20,000 lbs. They will come wrapped in 4 mil plastic but I will need to have the load covered in tarps to protect the panels in case of rain.

How much do you think such a shipment will cost me? Is there a place to go where I can get rates to have this shipped?

I use freightcenter.com and uship.com for odd freight shipments, but I would start by asking your supplier whether they have a recommendation.

Recent pricing was $5,696 for the shipment. So it came down a little.
