Flail mower for 18 HP at PTO?

Does anyone make a decent quality flail mower that will work on a tractor with 18 HP at the PTO? A friend is looking, but I know very little about flail mowers.

Most 48" models should work if it's not insanely heavy material being cut. Del Morino, Betstco, and others that I can't think of at the moment. The choice then becomes, y blades for grass or hammers for brush which also cut grass.

He is already debating it, but having a hard time justifying that purchase, plus he's a bit attached to the ability to get in to tight spaces with what he has now. (Keeping two tractors is not in the cards.)

48"to 52" flail mower for an 18 PTO HP is about maximum I would go. In taller vegetation it will be slower.
The Del Morino pictures at this link show a manual offset, a very good feature in my opinion.

Please check with the Vrisimo flail mower folks about using their 48 inch minmax with a tow bar and 4 flat proof caster wheels as otherwise you will only be able to use the towed motorized ones from England being the WESSEX brand and from Italy.
The Italian towed motorized flail mowers major weakness is the wheel bearings and the steel wheel type.
