Fitting 3 spindle rotary mower to a Case 448

My son is renovating a Case 448 JI Garden Tractor and has been trying to figure out how to fit the mower deck to it. The tractor came with a 3 spindle rotary mower and the part where he is having difficulty is working out how the power take off is assembled. Apparently there are a couple of plates that operate like a clutch and some springs that control the pressure on the plates.

Does anyone have a diagram or a manual that would give some clues on this? We bought an operating manual for the tractor but it doesn't show how to fit the mower deck.

Any help would be appreciated!
