Does anyone know the factory relief pressure setting for a conventional / old style Fisher Hydraulic Snow Plow Valve?
And is it the same on both vertical & horizontal (Up/down/side to side)?

I'm planning to use one for my truckloader project and am just trying to figure out how much umph it'll take.
Thanks.

Did you try to google it? Maybe look up some of the other popular snow plow set ups and go by there spec, I would think they would be close.

not sure about relief setting. Why are you asking?

I have a question tho. how are you keeping the HF QH top part from flopping around in use ? I see you added metal bars on bottom, but it only connect via chain at top ?

Not sure that this answers your question or applies to the fisher, but suspect may be similar lift hydraulics to help.

I needed ballast on the front end, and didn't want to remove the Western plow. So just picked up my ballast box with the plow blade and moved slow. Slipped a 2x4 in to catch the top, and a chain to hold it to the blade (and keep the blade from tilting forward). Worked like a charm. Wasn't sure the hyd ram would take it, but seemed to have no problem and I moved the wood around on the 3 ph forks with ease.
