The tractor was delivered at 7 pm Friday night. After getting the kids to bed, I ran it into the wee hours of the night trying to dig out what first appeared to be a small rock in the driveway. It appears the rock may be bigger than the tractor though, so I just buried it again.
On Saturday, I loaded the tractor and a few implements on a trailer and hauled it 45 miles to my parent's camp (that was a nerve-wracking trip). I cleared a bunch of small pine trees and aspen using the grapple, brush hogged for a few hours and tore the porch off an old building. I got a lot better at operating the FEL and earned a few points with my parents while having a lot of fun.

I made it back home safely with the tractor on Sunday and finished the weekend with about 12 hours on the tractor. Greased the FEL this morning, so I'm good for another week or so.

I'm glad I went with a Deere in part because of the 3rd SCV controls on the joystick. I'd really get sick of reaching for another lever to operate the grapple.
