I have a New Holland TC30 with 185 hours on it. I bought it with the house I just bought.
I have been using it to mow the lawn, but have some questions. I had some problems with the safety switch/alternator fuse blowing very often. It seems to have stopped after I took the dash apart and crawled over and under the rig checking connections. However, it happened again today. I just can't figure it out.
Also, what should I be running for pressure in the tires? I've got it set a couple of PSI under the max. rating on the tires. Will softer tires (less pressure) give me more traction and a less bumpy ride?
Finally, all I have is the owner's manual. But, I don't see where it tells me about how to take off my mower and hook other stuff up to it. I have a Woods 6' finish mower and a manure spreader. I would like to know how to take the dang mower off. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Thanks for any replies. I'm a bit overwhelmed with this thing. I can't wait until I learn how to operate it properly so I can have less aggrivation and more tractor driving fun! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Maybe I'll get a pic of it soon and post it.
