Snow First snow fall of the year

We got our first taste of winter yesterday, 6"-8" of the white stuff. I finally got to try out my new set up. WOW. The FUN has returned to snow plowing.
Last year I used a rear back blade, to my disappointment. This year I got all the pieces & money together to buy a 60" hyd front blade. I installed the control value as myself and learned a few lessons along the way. I will say this set up is slick. Effortless plowing. That was fun now lets get rid of this white crap, it sure makes the drive into work ****.

I can't wait to get the hydraulic blade setup for my B2320. I am sure it will be more fun that plowing with my old JD 110 garden tractor and blowing with my old Cadet 129. Do you have any action pictures or pictures of the plow setup on your tractor?

We had a little more this morning than yesterday.
Still not enought to cover the grass.
Was gone by afternoon.

Another hit by winter. Just got in from plowing the lane. The snow is too deep for the plow to push without taking it off by layers. Almost did not make it home from work tonight, bucking drifts in the dark is not my idea of fun. It is still blowing and snowing as I speak. I wonder how much white stuff I'll have to push tomorrow. Pics tomorrow if all goes well.

But there is none just where we live.

We had our second snow overnight. First was 2-3 inches and eventually melted. This is more, but not too bad. I have driveway markers out, and all summer stuff stored but have not yet put the blade on the tractor. I guess I'll have to take care of that chore this evening when I get home. I even drove my truck today, instead of my little econobox!
