Ok Folks,
After finally getting a ROPS for my L-175 I felt safe enough to tackle leveling about 2 ac of badly rutted area left over from stacking and burning brush piles. I am new to tractors having never run anything larger than a lawn tractor before so learning to use the boxblade was a unique expirence. After a few scares I found out how much rut or dirt hill I could tackle. And after several wheelies with the box full (and the subsequent addition of front weights and clean underwear) I think I am finally getting the hang of it. I know that I could get more done with a larger tractor but time is on my side and I found that I could just go slower and still get the job done. Put about 4 hours of seat time on the tractor this weekend and can't wait to get back to the land to do some more. I guess the next thing I need to think about is a bushhog for our grassy areas.
