Went out to my property this morning to continue with my clearing project. I had a slow leak in one of my front tires from a tiny puncture. It takes several days to a week for it to leak down. I'll likely handle this with a bit of slime.
Began bunching up some partially burned stumps that I've been burning for some time now. Each weekend I use my loader, and keep compacting the piles and start them burning again. I should have known it was too wet, as its rained nearly every day this past week, but wanted to get the last bit of stumps burned. Running back and forth in the mud and ash, I began to spin. Sure enough I sunk her down. Luckily I didn't panick, and managed to lift the front with the loader, and pull myself out by curling the bucket. Whew! Close call. I had the box blade on, and it was pushed down into the mud as well.
After getting her out, and getting all the mud off with the pressure washer, I noticed my adjustable sway stabilizers have about a 10 degree upward bend. They both look the same, but I can't remember, are they supposed to be straight?
I've got a feeling when I lifted the front end up with the loader, it likely pushed upward on the BB, bending these bars.
Just wanted to make sure they are supposed to be straight, before I take them off, and try to straighten them out. Just the inner bar is bent, the outer sleeve seems to be straight. (See photo).
I guess that's just part of working her!
