I was by this place yesterday evening and it doesn't look good for them. The following is from the Denton Record-Chronicle yesterday:
A fire Saturday night destroyed a truck and trailer accessory business on Interstate 35E in southern Denton. The preliminary cause of the fire at Accessory Superstore at 3939 S. I-35E, near Pockrus Paige Road, was a heater left on to keep chemicals warm, Denton Fire Department Capt. Quentin Brown said.
Passers-by on the highway called about 6:15 p.m. to report the blaze, which spread quickly because of high winds. There was nobody in the business at the time the fire started, and there were no injuries reported.
The northbound service road was closed as firefighters fought the blaze.
I guess the place was best known for the truck accessories, but they've always had quite a number of Branson tractors lined up at the front of the lot. At least the inventory outdoors apparently wasn't hurt, but I don't know how long it'll take to rebuild and get back in business.
