my idea of trying a golf cart cab on my tractor worked out just as I had hoped. It is almost a perfect fit and only cost $100 from Northern Hydraulics. It has zipper entry doors on each side and a zipper in each corner. The two front corners I left slightly unzipped to allow for FEL movement. The top is plywood 45"x59" with rounded corners and support by ROPS and front posts I attached to FEL frame using existing bolts.
The only real gaps are by the foot pedals and I will cut some carpet and drape it down over that area to keep most of wind out.

Emery,
Looks great, I have been thinking of doing something like this as well for my B2710. I will have to look into it alittle more.

Looks great! And the price is right too. Do you have a small 12v fan in there? It might help with condensation on the inside of the vinyl windows from your breath. Nice job.

It looks great! I always say there is nothing you can't accomplish with a little imagination (a little skill never hurts either /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif)

Methinks you'll be warmer and dryer than me...but you won't feel nearly as good when you come in from blowing snow as I will.

Seriously though, that looks like a great setup!

Neat and inexpensive too! I like it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Now all you need is a heater kit and you are set! You can check here. They might have something you could use. I might look into this idea myself.

Hmmm.. great idea.. Keep us posted on how much you love it after some use.. Did they have more than one size?

By chance.. did you consider the soft-sided cab made for the tractors they sell at Northern? Dont know the cost, but I bet it would be more expensive than your option..

boy i hate the northerntool website.. the search function never works.. Im trying to figure out what category the golf cart cover falls under..
