Finish Mower Manufacturer, Who is doing so??

I have the Mahindra finish mower, which I am told is manufactured by Kodiak. I looked at the Sitrix and it appears to be exactly the same, but their site says it is manufactured in Italy. I looked at the Northern tool finish mower and it exactly the same as my Kodiak, including the manual, which is interchangeable with my manual from Kodiak. Other manufacturers also look to be exactly the same.

So are these all the same mower or are they just stealing the design from each other???

He does have a point. The first two are Sitrex. The last one is Mahindra. I saw a Kodiak that looked just like them, but couldn't copy the picture.

The issue I've had with mine over the last year is the gear box relief valve leaks. Sorry for the crummy pictures.

It can be difficult to determine the actual manufacturer of some implements sold through tractor dealers. Deere's Frontier brand finishing mowers are built by Woods and BEFCO. My RFM is a Frontier branded Woods...pretty easy to figure that out since the name "Woods" is cast into the gearbox housing.

I just needed a replacement wheel assembly for my Mahindra mower and can confirm it is made by Kodiak. The dealer left the item in the shipping carton and the label in tact. FYI Spindles and belts are cheap, wheel assemblies not so much... Use caution when changing directions.

If it's made in Italy, my money would be on Sitrex or Caroni. Google them and look at the pics. Sitrex and Caroni are a couple of very large manufacturers of ag equip, and both located in Italy.

FWIW, Sitrex makes a bunch of the wheeled V-rakes (hay rakes) that are sold here. They're just painted several different colors.
