Hi: I'm a new (old-75) guy from rural NYS. I've had a Fergie TO20 since 1977; I just sold it locally.

I recently bought a 2013 New Holland T1510 to replace it, and signed up here because I expect I will have a lot of questions that pop up.

Welcome. I remember visiting a friends hunting camp on the cliffs above Seneca Lake back in the 80's. Hiking along gorges/rivers was fantastic.

I'm in the hills between Honeoye and Canandaigua Lakes -- been here for 44 years. Not tired of it yet!

My (late) mom grew up near Little Valley in Cattaraugus County; still have relatives there but no contact with them for years. Is that anywhere near you?

FWIW: I've only got about 7.5 acres, all woods except for my small lawn. I used to cut all my own firewood, but buy most of it now -- but I'll still take the easy stuff close by. No more cutting big trees down.

My Fergie was used for that and for plowing my driveway that is uphill to the road in the winter, especially pre-2006 when I had only 2WD pickups. Not as necessary now with 4- or AWD. I bought a snow blade with the New Holland also, probably a dumb idea.

But they're all mostly just toys at this age.

I'm in Ossian very close to Rattlesnake Hill at 1700ft elevation. We sometimes have to push the clouds over the hilltop to see the sunshine. This is our 13th year in a 20 X 24 ft log cabin.
