Finding of quality tools at Garage sales

Found a good set of Quality drill bits, made in the USA, actually I got 2-sets with Index cases most never been used some hardly ever used and for only $15.00 from a yard sale,
from size .040-to-.413 a total of over 100 drill bits,.
one set manufactured by the name Bendix , the other set was name TRW, all made in the USA I cannot remember when last owning so many of USA made drill bits, I suppose it's gotten where the only place to find good quality tools is from Folks having garage sales, Selling off their grandfathers 50/75 year old tools from back when he could easily obtain something made in the USA,

Local auction companies conduct sales in my area and usually have a wide variety of older tools for sale that have been well taken care of throughout their lifetime. I try to attend these Estate sales when possible. Most times the prices are relatively low in price.

Come on up next spring. Seems every third House will have a garage sale going as well as bigger ones set up where allowed.:laughing:
