Finally took the plunge today!!

After about two months consisting of selling my JD855 and researching a new tractor and then taking a chance on the low financing not ending so I could get the new loader, I finally did it.

Ordered new from JD: 4310 hydro, 4WD, Loaded R4s, DSCV w/3rd, 72in MMM, 300X Loader with 61in HD bucket and a 72in Boom mounted front blade.

Just curious...

Why the 300X, instead of the CX? Was the CX not offered, not available, ordid you not think it was worth the additional charges?

Thanks guys. I'm sure I can fumble my way around and get some pics on here. I should have it in a couple of weeks.

My dealer told me they were going to start production of the 300CX in mid December. I couldn't wait that long or I would be shoveling hundreds of feet of snow by hand. Yikes /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Also I had planned on getting the 430 which was more money than the 300x. And if the data I saw on the 300x is correct its lift capacity is more than the 430. So I figure I got more of a loader than the 430 and a price closer to the 420 if that makes sense /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Anyway I guess it came down to time and money!
