I finished discink up 9ac of my pasture last weekend, and finally got around to seeding it and fertalizing it this weekend. About 8 good hours of seat time.

I'm using a 3pt spreader with a flexible pto shaft.. and it worked well.Question here. I know that there is a valve on my 1920 to change the speed on the 3pt lift ( going down ).. But is there any way to lock the 3pt in position. I found that when going over some bumps.. I was spilling some seed and fert, as the 3pt ( floated up ) during the bump.
While seeding, I don't need to move the 3pt.. I just leave it up all the way for height/macimum spread distance.
Any ideas? I tried bungie straps.. but when you have the weight of the impliment, and a few hundred pounds of seed bouncing... the rubber don't hold good.. ;-)
