Well after putting 1200 hours on my BX1800 (bought it new in 2004) I've traded it in on a new B2620. I've only put a few hours on the new tractor so my comments on it will have to wait for a later post. I just want to say a few parting word about the BX 1800 (sniff sniff). The 1800 required no major professional service since I bought it. It did need a mnor adjustment on the Hydro Pedal that was done on warantee very early to prevent a creeping em that had developed. The BX 1800 has been a very very yarpast year it got caught out in a rain storm probland as a result the directional signal swtitch went on it. The 1800 has been a real gem. It would take a lot of space to describe how usefull Krusty had ben around the ranch. The BX 1800 has been a godsend given the amount of work that I have been able to complete these past few years.
My neighbor just got a B2620 this summer and I'm jealous! I've been 5 years adding upgrades, making modifications, and getting implements for my BX1800, so that it's now set up perfectly for what I need it to do. I've been able to resist the urge to trade up so far, but it hasn't been easy. Congratulations on your new tractor Botabill. Dyer, retired
Know your feeling. I traded my BX2200 for a new B2620 in July. Not really sure why. My ole girl never failed me. Did all the Mtce myself. She was cared for.
One day, the hydro hose for the loader that bends back to the tractor decided to leak. I went to get a new one and came home with the 2620..
I have good feelings and some regrets about it. I do know whoever bought the 2200 got a good tractor. Hope she is cared for.
