After running the GT25 for about 6 months now, I finally came across a little oak to mulch. It looks kinda small in the picture, but keep in mind the head is 102" wide.

Did it give you any trouble? I been wondering how these style heads do on hardwoods. We run into some elm up here also, not hard just tough.

No trouble, you just have to slow down to make sure it doesn't fall on top of you. This one was wind damaged and didn't have a top so I didn't have to worry so much.
