I've had my HF quick hitch for about six years. For the first few years, I mostly used it for fast changes between a brush cutter and box blade. Every once in a while, I'd take the the quick hitch off when I needed my boom pole, which didn't fit the quick hitch. As I've added implements, I've continued to make them work with the quick hitch with minor tweaks and adjustments. But the boom pole eluded me. To make a long story short, I finally got around to getting my MIG welder back in action, and made a coupler from some 3/16" flat stock:

It works great. Pardon the appearance of the welds. I'm relatively new to welding. They're strong, but not pretty.
Really nice to be able to quickly mount any of my implements and switch between tasks. Used to dread it, now I look forward to it, knowing I can go back and forth between different jobs without much fuss.
