Finally!! 66deg and sunny here today in SC!

Man, that was a long three week cold snap that finally snapped! Not trying to rub it in for you folks up north still in the deep freeze, but we're just not used to having cold weather for that length of time. Typically we have a low of about 30, and then it'll usually warm up to 55 or better, depending on if a warm air mass move up from the south, or if a cold air mass moves down from the north. We can deal with that easy enough lol but when it stays around 20 in the mornings, and the high is around 40, that's when things start freezing up (or over) and things start busting open.

I wish! We got to 55 on friday and it felt GREAT. The frozen ground is starting to thaw, about 1/2 inch of soggy soil on top of still frozen ground, makes for slippery walking and no tractor use. Even the dogs with their 4 wheel drive are slipping and kicking up divits

Ha, I feel the same way, I have always said that I like winter, "our winters," but not what he had here recently. I started a 1000 sf addtion to my house the week of Thanksgiving, between the rain and the cold, it took five weeks to dry it in. Maybe with good weather this week, I can get the vinyl on.
