Buying Advice Final 4 ZTRs being considered

I am going to be buying one of these machines for mowing my 5 acres:

1. Skag Turf Tiger with a 61" deck
2. John Deer Z720A with 7-Iron II 60" deck
3. Woods Mow'n Machine (FZ28k front deck), 28HP, 61" deck, 18,400 fpm
4. Woods Mow'n Machine (MZ2661KL mid mount), 26HP, 61" deck, 18,854 fpm

I am heavily leaning towards the Woods FZ28k front deck because of the fact that I can use the hydraulic lift to flip the front deck up 60 degrees for effortless cleaning and blade maintenance. You don't see Woods mowers around much...mainly Skag. Thoughts on my final options from anyone please.

I say they're all beasts and you can't go wrong with any of them. The FZ, or any front mount, has a number of advantages over mid mounts as I'm sure you already know. When I was looking, the front mounts were a chuck of change more than a comparable mid mount. What sort of prices are you getting?

Enough said. You have answered your own question.

Skag is an industry leader, in particular over the JD. I reserve comment on the Woods, as you have spoken as such ==> Not many of them around (relatively speaking).

Scag is hard to beat. You never hear anything but praise about them. I see a LOT of front mount Grasshopper mowers though.
