Oil & Fuel filling hydraulic reservoir

Own Hinomoto E322 and want to know how to check hydraulic fluid in reservoir. I looked in reservoir but couldn't see and fluid. Is the plug in left side used for fluid level when filling?

The E22 and the E18 (what I have) are close. That is where the level plug is on mine. I think the E22 was sold as a Massey 210-4. There is an I&T book that covers the 205/210 and 220 masseys which are Hinomoto's. I have found it invaluable.

There will be a fill plug and a dipstick next to your gear shift lever.
