Yep, yep. I know you know what I mean, Bill.
What's a fella suppose to do? Why just weekend before last I put down 1800 sq.ft. of sod and twas startin' to green up. Taint no more! I mean, I gots things to do outside like tranplanting a few abelias and such, and I have 8 bloomin' camellias all lined up ready to put in the ground. Well, they are froze blooms now.
I know this is no record setting deal, but 49 degrees swing in less than 48 hours is a bit xtreme. It needs to make up its mind: either git cold and stay cold for a spell, or git warm and stay warm.
I guess what's realy on my mind is that I needs to get things done so that I can earn my keep, for when my sweetie, SWMBO, you know who I mean, gets home from a hard day's work, she wants to see progress so she'll know I'm worh keepin' around. I mean, I can't even call in sick or nothin' like that.
At least those fellas way up yonder know what to spect. They can just count on hangin' it up bout end of September until long bout end of May. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
A rule of thumb that I have: ifins to cold to set down on the back porch to pull on my work boots, then it's to cold to work outside.
Hopin' y'all are stayin' warm!
