Fence post height???

Installed over 200 posts last fall, and I am now wondering if 12' posts would have been better than 7'. They are now almost gone
This snow is unreal here, the last 10 days we have gotten over 2 feet plus super winds to help move it around. Snow marker now is at 4.5' on the flats. The mountains must be pretty impressive.

Ever been to Michigan in the summertime, and wonder how those snowmobile skis get caught on the top wire?

Check this out. Went "swimming" to the shop to get the tractor out and this is what I found when I opened the door. Spent over 3 hrs today moving this crap. Notice the snowmobile tracks, I could not resist hitting new snow while the tractor warmed up.
