Tractor
kioti LK3054
for those who don't read the kioti thread here is a picture of the FEL partly assembled to my 3054. The skid plates from Payeur for the forestry package had to be removed for the FEL mounts so will have to rework, and as you can see the FOPS will need a little custom attention. I was able to set up the grapple trailer disconnect, then reposition the tractor and hook up the hoses to use it to sling the loader for installation.

That's going to be one handy rig when you're finished Woody. You'll be all set to pick up just about anything /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Once the fel has been install,do you plan on removing the fel ever again??

Looks like some extra fab going to be needed.

Thomas that is a quicktac removable loader so I want to stay that way, hence the extra time on set up before the installation. Here is a shot of the tractor with FEL on and plumbed, with the FOPS reworked and cut into place but not yet welded. will try today to attach some of the removed guards, though I would rather start playin errr workin with the new bucket.

Sure wouldn't have to worry about get soak from the rain while loading the logs...and I bet those tires would make a heck of a ruts.

Woody, is "The Forester" a brand specific FOPS or do they make them for different tractors? Thanks for any info.

thomas I looked at buying a "real" forwarder before the tractor package idea, but deceided they were too much in size and money, and too much of a one purpose machine. I almost bought one from 1978 for 12,000 but at the last minute changed my mind.

the fops were built by les distributors payeur who assembled the "forester" package the 3054 and metavic loader.

90 per cent back today, the fops are all welded back and the major skid plates are back into reworked position, was able to remove and reattach the loader frame. boy that quick tack is really slick, the loader just rolls off and on. will be able to remount the front screening but the side ones need major rework. only really lost some skid plating near the hydraulic pump, but that is shielded some what by the loader mid mount.
