Bush Hog sells loaders that are called "mid mount" or "front push". the difference between the two designs is not apparent when looking over the literature. Can anyone explain the two and which is best for what Tractors? Your help is appreciated as always.

I just read the info and brochure on the web site...I don't see much differnce either.
Guess you'll have to call Bush Hog if you want an answer.

The Mid Mount seems to be their newer design with better torque tubes, a higher capacity, and are "designed for newer tractors" - probably because they need a higher flow rate. If you're uncertain whether your model is "newer" I'd shoot them an email to confirm.

It's not clear from the web site. The front push loaders mount only to the mid mount attach points on the tractor and has a frame that is mounted in the front of the tractor. It wraps around the front of the tractor.

Their mid-mount units attach to the mid mount attach points on the tractor and then has a sub frame that is mounted on the bottom of the tractor. It's confusing.

The mid mount units should be called bottom frame mount IMHO.
