I have a Frontier 72" blade on a 300 loader on a 790. There is also an 84" blade. Part numbers AL1672E and AL1684E. My books says for 300, 400, and 500 series loaders. I think the 2305 use the 200 series so I don't know if it fits that. I only got the tractor in May but used it for a foot of heavy wet snow and it worked great, not cheap but worth the price if you get a lot of snow. I'm putting the hydraulic angle kit on before next winter.

Thanks, makes it worth driving 50 miles to work. Here is a better view from one deck but w/o tractor.

Just thought I would chime in,

I have had the same thoughts about ordering a FEL blade, but I have been told that our 2305 is too short and too light to be able to handle the blade once it encounters any significant snow. My solution to clearing my 500 foot driveway is to add a grader blade to the rear and keep the FEL bucket for moving accumulated piles.

Last winter we got an 8 inch snowfall and the county trucks did not make it out to my road till two days later. Since my wife is a doctor and needs to get to the hospital promptly, I cleared my driveway and about a quarter mile of county road, right up to the intersection where the snowplow did come buy--a substantial distance.

The 2305 had no problem whatsoever pushing itself over the snow (in places, close to a foot deep). Usually I just raised up the FEL, angled and dropped the grader blade and charged through the wet, heavy snow (the only type of snow we get in Southern Illinois). The 2305 worked beautifully. The path behind me was nice and clean--it did not even leave tire marks as the blade was the last part of the tractor to go over the snow. I did make several up and down the road as a 5'angled blade only clears a path about 4.5 feet wide--just over the width of the tractor. Still, after quite a bit of fun time, I had the road in good, clear shape. I also cleared our neighbor who has a 1000' hilly, twisting driveway--he would have been stuck for days--even the AAA has refused to pull him out on the grounds that his road was impassable, but not for the 2305!

Personally, in case you can't tell, I favor the Grader Blade. It was cheap (mine was $150 new), does not slow down the tractor a bit, had absolutely no effect on maneuverability, leaves a very nice clean finish, lets you retain the FEL bucket to remove piles, and is generally an absolute blast after a nice snowfall. Best luck on your decision. Make your own choice, but I would reccomend a grader blade any day.

Good luck

Try to pick up an old Fisher or other brand snow plow and make the necessary alterations to fit you tractor. Do you have QA ? It makes adapting and using much easier. Many of us here on the TBN have done it and I for one will happily say that not only is pushing snow with a front mount, hydraulic angled plow quick and effective it is a lot of Fun.

If the attatchment fits a 300 or 400 series loader it will fit a 200 series loader. Pushing the front end of these little guys sideways with the blade angled is the restrictive part of a boom mounted blade.
