Is there a way to speed up the movements of my FEL? While moving snow this week the tilt of the bucket was so methodical and slow that it was hard to 'bump' the snow out of it. It there a way to adjust the speed of movement in raising/lowering and tilt/dump movements?
Thanks!

Shooting blind here, not enough info, tractor make, model, etc. Bump up the RPM, disconnect and reconnect quick couplings. All I can come up with with little info.

x2 milkman, has this always been the case or did it just happen? More info needed

Also does it change after running the tractor after working the snow for an hour or so, ie tractor is up to normal aoperating temp?

Royboy, I think you have a B2410. Are you running it wide open throttle? If not, try increasing the RPM first. You can't hurt it, it's made to run wide open all day. You can hurt it if you lug it down. Kubota diesels are made to be run fast, won't hurt them at all.

On my joy stick manifold where the hoses enter there is an adjustment nut with a groove for a large screw driver that will open the spool for more or less hydraulic pressure, had the same type set up was on a 140 hp case w/bucket I had too. May look for that.

I had this also happen on a JD, ended up being a blown "O" ring piece restricting the flow in one of the orifices (sp), that was really noticeable since it went from smooth and fast to sum-what like you describe.

Could be allot of things really don't find something obvious, I'd call your dealer

Have the filters been changed? Not sure of your hours on the tractor.

Thanks all! Sorry about the lack of info, I (mistakenly) guessed it would be more of a generic FEL question than it is.

It is a B2410 and it this is the first time I have used the FEL since it got back from a full servicing so I think the filters were either okay or replaced. It seems slower moving to me now than I was used to before the fully service was done.

Thinking back to when the question popped into my feeble mind.... I'm not sure it was fully warmed up and I was just doing a couple of things with the FEL. I will fire it back up today and give it a good work out at higher rpm's to see if it changes for the better as it warms into the work.
Thanks for the ideas! I'll check it out further.
