While picking up buckets of gravel all morning I blew a hydro line that controls the bucket upward curl movement. No big deal and got another one at NAPA. I went back to work for perhaps more hours moving the bucket and arms through the full range of movement perhaps 50 bucket loads or more.............

When finished, I went to the barn and decided to wash off the hydro fluid that had sprayed over the front of the tractor. I used a brush on a broom handle type device to get into the various places........After doing this I noticed that the arms would only lift the bucket perhaps 1/2 of the range. In addition, though the bucket curls nicely, it doesn't lift the tractor front end anymore by curling it or pushing down on the arm.............

THOUGHTS PLEASE........God bless.....Dennis

You might want to check your oil level. Also possible you have air in system but that should have been purged out with use.

I added a quart right after it started acting up. I didn't loose that much I don't think and I used the loader for maybe 20 bucket loads after putting on the new hose............

When raising the arms it seems as if one is hitting a hard stop like it does at the end of it's travel.............

Everything else is working just fine............Could their be air in a cylinder???????........Yes, it should've worked out by me doing all of the work I did after replacing the hose. All I did was wash the durn thing. Is there something I could've "bumped" when I was washing around the controls with the brush???????

You more than likely knocked something when you were washing. Lower loader to ground and relieve all the pressure in the lines and then disconnect and re-couple all the quick couplers for the loader. You might have partially disconnected one.

check hyd connections

Also check that the 3 point lift control isn't out of its neutral position (i.e. stuck in "lift" position, for example). That can impair the operation of other hydraulic components such as the loader.

I just replied to you post on OTT, unplug, clean, and reseat the four connections to the loader, this cures 90% of the "my loader won't xxx" problems.
