Before the snow flies, I want to build a blade to attach to my fel. It seems to me that about a year ago someone here had a series of post that showed the progression of his blade building project. I cannot seem to find it and am wondering if anyone knows remembers that and can point me in the right direction.

Not sure this is the one you mentioned, but I built one to smooth out some dirt. Pic shows how it attaches, which is two 1/2 inch bolts.

The blade is 6 feet of 3/8 x 4" strap, so it is about 8" tall. So far, it has held up well. If we some snow this winter, I'll probably use it for the driveways. (we usually don't get much snow). Mine doesn't have a way to swivel, which would make it better to push snow.

Hope this helps.

I had a long thread last year on my project, not sure if it's the one your thinking of, but here is the LINK to the post...

Good luck!

Thanks Ron and Kenny. Kenny's is actually the one I was looking for.
Sorry Ron. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Good simple idea to get the job done though.
