Will a Kubota L 3901 tractor lift a 18" concrete retainer approx. 1000 lbs with loader or backhoe ?
L3901 Loader "may" lift "
approx. 1,000 pounds" but perhaps only to 4" height. You could not load or unload barriers from a truck nor trailer.
In order to lift "approx. 1,000 pounds" you would require the Backhoe or around 550 pounds counterbalance mounted on the Three Point Hitch.
A 2,800 pound bare weight
L3901 would be minimally stable.
You could transport the load only over hard, level, smooth surface without danger the tractor might roll over.
Any bouncing of the load would put transient strain on Loader hydraulic lines.
Lifting "approx. 1,000 pounds" with a
L3901 Backhoe is impractical. You would have to use straps or chains for attachment, so the Backhoe would commence the lift fairly high, where lifting capacity is already reduced.
Safer to consider a 3,700 pound bare weight Kubota model from the MX series, with an amply powerful Loader, bigger wheels, bigger/wider tires and wider wheel stances.
